My research focus on plant and insect community ecology & conservation.
My main interest is to understand how environmental changes are affecting biodiversity through time and space; how such biotic changes affect ecosystem functioning and ecosystem services (e.g. crop pollination and pest control); and how the complex network of ecological interactions in which species are integrated mediates such changes.
I am an associated editor of the journal Methods in Ecology and Evolution, and integrate the list of experts on Pollination, Pollinators and Food Production of the The Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services Network (UN DP).
