I received a Ph.D. in Biology from the Universidade de Lisboa in 2011. I’m currently a post-doc at Cerena-IST and collaborating with the eChange and ESFE groups of cE3c. I work on the use of vegetation functional groups and spatial patterns to assess the effect of environmental changes, with both natural and human origin: desertification and land degradation, climate alterations, eutrophication and land-use/cover
