Understanding participatory practices within the context of wind energy development is crucial to illuminating critical aspects of procedural justice, and contributing to formulating pertinent guidelines and recommendations for more comprehensive, empowering, and transparent wind energy projects. By drawing on a relational approach to participation, this work offers a synthesis of participatory practices in the context of wind energy development, by taking stock of 363 collected examples, across the globe.
