**Nova data limite para inscrição :: Convite aos alunos de doutoramento**

O Laboratório Associado CHANGE – Instituto para as Alterações Globais e Sustentabilidade convida todos os seus investigadores (incluindo alunos de doutoramento) para o evento participativo Science CHANGing Policy, que se irá realizar no próximo dia 2 de junho de 2023, no Colégio Luís António Verney, Universidade de Évora. O evento decorrerá em formato bilingue (Português/Inglês).

Este evento visa estabelecer relações colaborativas entre os investigadores das três unidades de I&D que compõem o LA CHANGE, cE3c, MED e CENSE, nas suas áreas de atuação.

A visão estratégica de associar os recursos combinados do LA CHANGE permitirá certamente um debate produtivo capaz de suportar o desenvolvimento, avaliação e operacionalização de políticas públicas inovadoras e melhoradas com impacto nas Alterações Globais e Sustentabilidade.

Os investigadores do LA CHANGE são convidados a submeter resumos para serem apresentados em sessões paralelas do evento e/ou posters para serem discutidos no World Cafe. Os tópicos de interesse para submissão são associados às Linhas Temáticas (LT), nomeadamente:

LT1: Salvaguardar e promover a biodiversidade e os serviços dos ecossistemas

LT2: Assegurar sistemas alimentares e de biomassa sustentáveis

LT3: Assegurar a preservação e regeneração dos recursos naturais

LT4: Promover uma economia circular e neutra em carbono

LT5: Reforçar a coesão territorial para reduzir as disparidades

No debate participativo, os investigadores serão estimulados para a partilha de conhecimento, discussão e reforço das interligações entre o saber científico e tecnológico e as políticas públicas.

Posteriormente o Conselho Diretivo selecionará as melhores ideias e pequenos projetos exploratórios resultantes do evento e financiará a sua implementação. Informação adicional será disponibilizada no decorrer do evento.

As inscrições e submissão de resumos foram prolongadas até 12 de maio de 2023.

Os alunos de doutoramento são convidados a participar tanto nas sessões paralelas como no World Cafe, com uma apresentação e/ou poster da sua autoria cujo tema se enquadre em, pelo menos, uma das Linhas Temáticas, com o objetivo de promover e orientar a discussão.

**New Registration Deadline :: Invitation to PhD Students**

 The Associate Laboratory CHANGE - Global Change and Sustainability Institute invites its Researchers to participate in the networking event Science CHANGing Policy, to take place on June 2nd 2023, at Colégio Luís António Verney, University of Évora. The event will be in a bilingual format (Portuguese/English).

This event aims to establish collaborative relationships between researchers from the three R&D Units that integrate the AL CHANGE, cE3c, MED and CENSE.

The strategic vision aiming at the combination of R&D resources from AL CHANGE will certainly enable a productive debate to support the development, evaluation and operationalisation of innovative and improved public policies with an impact on Global Changes and Sustainability.

CHANGE Researchers are invited to submit abstracts and/or posters to be presented within parallel sessions and the world cafe session, to be organised during the event. The topics of interest for the submissions are associated with the Thematic Lines (TL), namely:

TL1: Safeguarding and promoting biodiversity and ecosystem services

TL2: Ensure sustainable food and biomass systems

TL3: Ensure the preservation and regeneration of natural resources

TL4: Promote a circular and carbon-neutral economy

TL5: Strengthen territorial cohesion to reduce disparities

Within the networking event, researchers will be stimulated to share knowledge, discuss and strengthen the connections between scientific/technological knowledge and public policies.

Subsequently to the event, the Board of Directors will select the best exploratory projects and ideas resulting from the Network event and will subsidise these small projects. More info on this topic will be presented at the event.

Registrations and submission of abstracts have been extended till May 12th 2023.

PhD students are invited to participate in the parallel sessions and/or the world cafe session with a presentation and/or posters of their authorship whose theme falls at least in one of the Thematic Lines, to promote and guide the discussion.
