I received a MSc. in Molecular Genetics and Biomedicine from the Universidade Nova de Lisboa in 2019. Currently, I am a PhD student in the Development and Evolutionary Morphogenesis group, where I am studying the molecular mechanisms associated with LAMA2-congenital muscular dystrophy (LAMA2-MD), a disease caused by mutations in the Lama2 gene.
