Mediterranean drylands Acorns Secondary metabolism;

I’ve graduated in Biology from the University of Lisbon on 2017 and I’m currently a Master Student in Biology of Plant Resources.

My main area of interest is the secondary metabolism of plants and how the production of compounds is influenced by the environment surrounding the plant. I’m presently working on my master thesis, which consists in biochemical characterization of acorns from different varieties of holm oak (Quercus ilex) along a climatic gradient in Alentejo (Portugal).
