Cristiana is conducting a MSc in Ecology and Environmental Management at the University of Lisbon, supervised by Ricardo Lima (cE3c, FCUL) and Rayna C. Bell (California Academy of Sciences). For her thesis on "Passive acoustic monitoring for the conservation of amphibians in Príncipe Island", she is using passive acoustic monitoring methods to document the distribution and daily activity patterns of frogs endemic to Príncipe Island, in collaboration with Fundação Príncipe (São Tomé and Príncipe).
