Agroecology Sustainable Agriculture Short food supply chains

I received a PhD: Sociological Transitions with an Agroecological Focus at the University of Granada in 2023 and I am currently collaborating with MITE 2; cE3c subgroup, on Agroecological Transition. I am a researcher in Agroecology and agri-food systems in the Stand U group at the University of Granada. My research focuses on:biocultural memory, gender perspective, food sovereignty, short marketing circuits among others.
For many years I have been involved in sociological transitions with indigenous and peasant communities in South America, using agroecology as a theoretical framework, through participatory methodologies, in conjunction with different universities in Chile, Colombia, Brazil and Mexico. My current research is driven by three general objectives: 1.- Contribute to developing a territorialized strategy with an agroecological approach with the farmers I work with. 2) Promote cooperation and synergy networks between local actors, articulating public and private organizations and 3) Move towards a more ecological production model by promoting proximity trade between farmers and the food of the territory. For example, food in schools, nursing homes and public hospitals.
