I received a Ph.D. in Biodiversity from the University of Barcelona in 2022 and I am currently working in the Azorean Biodiversity Group. My research focuses on mainly on taxonomy and systematics. For many years I have been involved in spider taxonomy research using as model system spiders and islands. For the past years, I have worked mainly with Macaronesian and Afrotropical fauna.
