I have a master’s in Biology of Plant Resources from the Instituto Superior de Agronomia (ISA) and Faculty of Sciences, University of Lisbon in 2021 and a graduation in Biological Sciences from the University of Cabo Verde on 2017.

I’m currently a PhD Student in Forestry Engineering and Natural Resources at ISA, University of Lisbon.

My PhD topic is on the Desertification assessment in arid ecosystems: an approach to mitigate and enhance dryness resilience in Cabo Verde’s Islands (Dry2VERDE), under the supervision of Dr. Maria M. Romeiras (ISA, ULisboa), Dr. Maria J. Vasconcelos (ISA, ULisboa) and Dr. Maria C. Duarte (FCUL, ULisboa).
