I received a Ph.D. in Biology (expertise Ecology) from the University of Lisbon in 2012 and I am currently collaborating with the eChange group of cE3c. In April 2014 I’ve moved (for two years) to Universitat Rovira i Virgili in Tarragona, Spain, to develop an Intra-European Marie Curie project in the field of Air Pollution Biomonitoring. My research aims at developing tools to monitor the impact of pollution on ecosystems and human health. For that purpose, my research is mainly focused on air, soil and water pollution, biomonitoring, environmental and human health, toxic organic compounds (dioxins, furans, PAHs, etc.), and food safety.
