Ecosystem functioning Biodiversity Ecology

I received a Master degree in Integrative physiology in extreme conditions from the University of Claude Bernard Lyon 1 and Ecosystem functioning from the University of Montpellier 2 in 2010 and I am currently working in the Island Biodiversity, Biogeography & Conservation team - IBBC. My research focuses on evaluating changes in grassland, herbivore and predatory arthropod abundance, taxonomic and functional diversity in Azorean pastures under different conditions as raising temperature and extreme drought.
For many years I have been involved in IBBC group working within the ISLAND-BIODIV project (e.g. Arthropods collection, identification, storage, data analyses). I also have great interest in ecophysiology to understand how organisms respond to environmental conditions encountered in their ecosystems.
My current research work at CE3C is part of the PASTURCLIM project, which uses the Azorean pastures as an in-situ model to determine the direct consequences of raising temperature and extreme drought on Azorean pastures
