Degree in Geography and Regional Planning (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), Master in Cartographic Production and Geographic Information Systems (Universitat de Barcelona) and Remote Sensing and Geographic Information Systems (Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona).

 Currently in the PhD program Interdisciplinary Landscape Management (Universidade dos Açores / Universidade de Évora / Universidade Técnica de Lisboa), developing the project “Using Satellite Remote Sensing for Land Cover and Land Use mapping in oceanic islands: Azores Islands case study”. My research project aims to improve the reliability and accuracy of geographic data for decision-support and scientific research in Land Management, Environmental Planning and Climate Change domains
