I received a Ph.D. in Behavioral Biology from ISPA - Instituto Universitário in 2022 and I am currently working in the Conservation in Socio-Ecological Systems - CSES research group. I am a post-doctoral researcher and my research focuses on animal movement and nature conservation.
During my phd, my research focused on the analysis of electronic tracking data from seabirds and sea turtles to to inform their conservation.
My current research is focused on using existing information on animal movements (ringing data, tracking data) and occurrence patterns (citizen science data) to support decision-making about important site connectivity and protection.
