João Guilherme Frazão is conducting a MSc. In Biology of Development and Evolution (BED), at the University of Lisbon starting in 2018 within the Evolutionary Genetics (EG) group of cE3c. He is conducting the thesis under the supervision of Vítor Sousa (cE3c).

His thesis aims are: to understand the effect migration has on local adaptation, the genomic impact of background selection and the relation between speciation and local adaptation.
