I have a bachelor in Biology with specialization in Microbiology from the faculty of science of the University of A Coruna in Spain. After studying Aquaculture and Marine mammals courses at the University of Trondheim and Oslo I worked as a school teacher and in brewing quality control in Norway. I’m currently living in Lisbon where I’m carrying out my master thesis under the super visor of Teresa Nogueira and Francisco Dionisio within the Microbial Genomics and Bioinformatics group (cE3c). The main objective of my project is the comparative analysis of the genomic profile of meta genomes from estuarine aquaculture sediments across the world.
