Ana Carolina Dias is conducting a Ph.D. in Sustainability Science by the University of Lisbon starting in 2019 within the eChanges group of cE3c. She is conducting a reserach on Participatory visual arts as a pathway to transformation of urban dwellers towards sustainability, under the supervision of Professor Cristina Branquinho (cE3c), Professor Mónica Mendes (FBAUL) and José Manuel Palma Oliveira (FPUL). She aims to understand how artistic creative processes in visual arts can be a means of knowledge production and transformation towards sustainability in urban contexts.
