I received a MSc. in Biological Engineering from the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon in 2012 and I am currently the LabManager of the Adaptation in Heterogeneous Environments (AHE) sub-group of cE3c. My main goal is to provide the best conditions for the good work of AHE team.

Previously I was studying the adaptation of Escherichia coli to its natural environment, the mouse gut.
