Tiago Filipe Salgueiro de Jesus is conducting a Ph.D. in Evolutionary Biology by the University of Lisbon starting in 2011 within the RG4. Evolutionary Genetics of the CE3C. He is conducting the project “Adaptation of freshwater fish to thermal stress - a study in two environmental contexts”, under the supervision of Prof. Maria Manuela Coelho (CE3C) and Prof. Vera Almeida e Val (INPA – National Institute of Amazonian Research). Tiago Filipe Salgueiro de Jesus Ph.D. project aims is to comprehend how two pairs of congeneric species living in distinct environments are adapted to deal with thermal stress.
