Luís Dias is conducting a Ph.D. in Urban resilience and Climate change by the University of Lisbon/Faculty of Architecture starting in 2010 within the Climate Change impacts adaptation and modeling research group of cE3c. He is conducting the project “City, climate change and floods - a contribution to urban resilience study”, under the supervision of Maria Clara Mendes (Faculty of Architecture) and Filipe Duarte Santos (Faculty of Sciences) from the University of Lisbon. Luís Dias Ph.D. project aims are: Evaluating resilience in urban areas, flood modelling and climate change projections.
Luís Dias is also WP1 coordinator of the ClimAdaPT.Local project, being responsible for supporting 26 Portuguese municipalities to develop there adaptation strategies to climate change under the supervision of Filipe Duarte Santos.
