I received my bachelor degree in Marine Biology from the University of Algarve in 2017. In 2015 I took part in the EMEPC/M@arbis campaign for the continental shelf expansion project. Currently I am doing a MSc in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology. I am doing my thesis at cE3c under the supervision of Vitor Sousa. My project aims at understanding the spread of agriculture and the bronze age transition using ancient DNA and population genomic approaches. This project is done in collaboration with Anna-Sapfo Malaspinas (University of Lausanne, Switzerland) and Christina Papageorgopoulou (Democritus University of Thrace, Greece).
