Fabricio Casarejos completed a PhD in Physics from Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2010. He completed a Post-doc at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2010-2013), a Post-doc at the Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes, University of Lisbon, Portugal (2013-2015), and a Senior Post-doc at the Interdisciplinary Center for the Environment at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (2016-2017). Currently, he is a professor and visiting researcher at the Graduate Program in Environmental Sciences at the Federal University of Alfenas, Brazil. He is also researcher collaborator in the Climate Change Impacts, Adaptation and Modelling research team at the Centre for Ecology, Evolution and Environmental Changes, University of Lisbon, Portugal, and a member of the Great Transition Initiative, Tellus Institute, Boston, USA. His main research topics include systems, resilience, and futures thinking; systems dynamics modeling; global sustainability; sustainable development; climate change; planetary boundaries.
